Holidays to Europe started with Thomas Cook, and in the late 60‘s the package holiday was born.
Westway Travel’s late Chairman, Michael Prior led the European holiday boom in the 70’s and 80’s with Intasun Holidays.
In the mid 1990’s, the birth of the low-cost airline changed the holiday landscape yet again.
Ryanair and Easyjet led the charge to open-up hundreds of airports around Europe. Many areas that were not on the tourist radar are now great weekends away, great centres for touring, or just the chance to experience something new.
Europe is now just so vast that it is impossible to demonstrate on this website alone, the opportunities available to you.
