Day 1 Rome
Ciao, and welcome to the Eternal City!

Day 2 Rome/Capalbio
As morning light illuminates the streets of Rome, prepare for a G Adventures supported migrant led walk through the city. After, board a train to the charming coastal village of Capalbio. From Capalbio, board a private transfer bound for the heart of Etruria, a quaint, historic region rich in geography and archeological sites. Gaze out the window as the hills of Tuscany roll by.

Set amongst fertile olive groves, breathtaking countryside, and a horizon sparkling with the blues of the Mediterranean, your villa awaits. Upon arrival, take an orientation walk around the property. Then, prepare for an Aperol Spritz making class and tasting by the pool. Finish the day with a home-made, traditional Tuscan dinner with your hosts.

Day 3 Capalbio
This morning, visit the local beach and have lunch overlooking the sea. In the afternoon, explore the medieval village of Capalbio, a picturesque town surrounded by untouched 15th Century walls. Enjoy an orientation walk with a visit to the historic Aldobrandeschi Fortress. Have dinner in Capalbio's scenic old town.

Day 4 Capalbio
Rise early and take to the grounds with your host. Roam the rolling hills graced with olive groves, woodlands, and open fields. Listen as your host shares the decades old stories written across the face of the hills of Tuscany they now call home. Share in the love your hosts have for each other and the land and natural beauty of the region.

Then, take the rest of your morning to explore the southernmost region of Tuscany. Enjoy relaxing in a hammock on the portico of the villa. Or, consider taking your exploration further afield with a bike ride to Feniglia beach, a visit to the archeological site of Cosa, or a soak in the local hot springs. For lunch, opt to take the short walk to Tortello, a trattoria beloved by the locals and known for its generous portions and genuine Italian fare. End the day with a visit to a local winery made complete with a dinner of traditional Tuscan fare on the grounds.

Day 5 Capalbio
Transfer to the seaside region of Monte Argentario for a full day of exploration. Opt to wander around the port villages, take a hike in the Tuscan hillside, or spend the day snorkelling at sea. Return to the villa in the evening.

Day 6 Capalbio
Another free day to explore this region or relax at the villa. Consider a trip to Tuscany's Tufa area, home to the quaint Etruscan towns of Pitigliano, Sovana, and Sorano. In the evening, try your hand at Tuscan cuisine during a cooking class and indulge in tastings of olive oil and local liquors.

Day 7 Capalbio/Rome
Reflect on memories made and the places you have visited while taking your return transfer to Rome. Return via bus and train, then depart in the early afternoon from the Rome train station (Termini).
