Botswana's Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls safari

Day 1 International outbound flight

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Maun.

Day 2 Khwai Concession

On arrival at Maun airport you will be met and assisted with your bags across the tarmac to your light aircraft which will fly you across the delta to the private Khwai Concession. You should arrive in time to enjoy an afternoon or evening game viewing activity.

Day 3 Khwai Concession

You can enjoy a variety of activities at Sango including morning and afternoon game drives, guided bush walks and traditional mokoro excursions. Two safari activities are on offer each day — one in the early morning and the second in the late afternoon. After your morning safari excursion you will arrive back at the lodge for a filling breakfast. Enjoy resting and watching the wildlife around the camp in the heat of the day before heading out on a second game drive in the late afternoon. As the sun sets, you'll also get a chance to see some nocturnal animals on your drive before returning to camp.

Day 4 Khwai Concession

Enjoy another full day of activities from Sango Safari Camp. Experience being polled along the channels of the delta on a traditional mokoro as well as game drives in the adjacent Moremi Wildlife Reserve or throughout the Khwai Concession.

Day 5 Gunn’s Concession

After your morning game excursion you will take a short scenic flight to the Gunn's Concession where you will spend the next three nights. When you arrive you will have time to enjoy some lunch and get settled into your room before heading out on the afternoon safari.

Day 6 Gunn’s Concession

This particular camp has a focus on water activities, with no vehicles to be found in the concession. Enjoy motor boat excursions, mokoro canoe trips and nature walks on Chief's Island, all in the company of your expert guide.

Day 7 Gunn’s Concession

Another full day of activities awaits you. Whilst there is plenty of large game in the area, it's well worth taking the opportunity to notice the smaller things whilst enjoying the wetland style of safari. Animal tracks, plant life, smaller creatures and insects are all things that can all too easily be overlooked when on game drives.

Day 8 Victoria Falls

After a leisurely breakfast you will take your final light aircraft flight to Kasane. On arrival you will be transferred across the Zambezi River into Zambia and to Waterberry Lodge. You'll have the next three nights here to explore the incredible falls, and to make the most of this wonderful location on the beautiful Zambezi River.

Day 9 Victoria Falls

Spend the day enjoying activities from Waterberry Lodge. Included in the price of your stay are guided trips to Victoria Falls, trips to markets and museums, game drives in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, morning and sunset boat cruises, guided canoe trips, fishing trips and picnics on an island in the river.

Day 10 Victoria Falls

Today you can enjoy more of the activities from Waterberry.

Day 11 International return flight

After breakfast you will be transferred to Livingstone airport for your onward travel arrangements.

Day 10 International return flight

Arrive home today to complete your journey.
