Situated on a wooded hillside above the small fishing village of Ligia near Lefkada Town, this two bedroomed villa looks out over olive trees to the Inner Ionian Sea and the old fortress of St George on the mainland. Apart from its beautiful location, it is perfectly placed for exploring the whole island with the added advantage of close proximity to the island capital with its unique old houses, built out of timber and corrugated iron to withstand earthquakes. From here it is only a short drive across the famous canal to the mainland and the hills of the Epiros Coast. This part of Lefkada also has a network of old so leaving the car at home for pleasant strolls through olive groves and fields is yet another option.

So many choices, but relaxing at home beside the pool is also an attractive proposition and the ever changing view of white sails on blue water with the hills beyond shimmering in the haze can be all absorbing!
