DAYS 1 & 2
Vancouver
Arrive and relax as a private transfer takes you to your downtown hotel for a 2-night stay. In the morning, enjoy a 5-hour city and Capilano Bridge tour. Points of interest include Canada Place, Robson Street, Granville Market, Chinatown, historic Gastown and Stanley Park, en-route to the Capilano Suspension Bridge in the North Shore rainforest.

 

DAY 3
Vancouver to Kelowna (396km)
Pick up your rental car and enjoy a scenic drive to Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley.

 

DAY 4
Kelowna to Revelstoke (198km)
On today’s drive you’ll pass waterfalls, towering peaks and sparkling lakes before reaching Revelstoke. Overnight stay at the Coast Hillcrest Resort for all guests.

 

DAY 5
Revelstoke to Banff (251km)
A day of scenic highlights as you drive through Glacier National Park, Rogers Pass and Kicking Horse Pass; the photo opportunities are endless! We recommend a stop at Lake Louise, the Jewel of the Rockies, before continuing to Banff for a 2-night stay.

 

DAY 6
Banff
A free day, the great outdoors is the main attraction – perhaps take the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, enjoy a hike, go wildlife-viewing or even take a heli-flightseeing tour for magnificent aerial views of the Rocky Mountains.

 

DAY 7
Banff to Jasper (288km)
Today’s drive is along the Icefields Parkway which is recognised as one of the top scenic drives in North America. Keep your camera handy as there’s a good chance of seeing wildlife on this road. Other photo opportunities on your journey include Peyto and Bow Lakes, Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls and the Columbia Icefield. Here you’ll walk on the surface of the Athabasca Glacier in a specially-designed Ice Explorer. Check into your hotel for a 2-night stay. Standard: Lobstick Lodge. Superior: Sawridge Inn.

 

DAY 8
Jasper
Enjoy a free day in the friendly, picturesque town of Jasper, a perfect base for exploring the array of natural attractions such as Maligne, Pyramid and Patricia Lakes and the Maligne Canyon. If you’d like to be more active take a rafting excursion or even a sidecar motorcycle tour.

 

DAY 9
Jasper to Clearwater (318km)
Drive along the Yellowhead Highway past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and follow the Thompson River to Clearwater. Your accommodation for a 2-night stay is the Alpine Meadows Resort (same for all guests), on Hallamore Lake.

 

DAY 10
Clearwater
A free day to enjoy the secluded location and facilities of the lodge, which include fishing equipment, boats, canoes and kayaks (charge may apply to some services) or drive to Wells Gray Provincial Park to visit Helmcken Falls, Canada’s fourth highest waterfall.

 

DAY 11
Clearwater to Whistler (422km)
The scenic drive along the Cariboo Highway brings you to the popular year-round resort of Whistler for a 2-night stay.

 

DAY 12
Whistler
A full free day to relax and enjoy the many outdoor activities including zip-lining, canoeing and hiking. Highly recommended is the Peak2Peak Gondola that links Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains and gives stunning views. In the summer black bears roam the ski slopes.

 

DAY 13
Whistler to Parksville (112km – land only)
Leave Whistler and drive the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway on your way to Horseshoe Bay. There you’ll board the BC Ferry (cost included) for a leisurely cruise to Vancouver Island. Take the short drive to Parksville and check into the Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort (same for all guests) for an overnight stay.

 

DAY 14
Parksville to Victoria (150km)
A short drive today brings you to Victoria. On the way we suggest you stop at the world famous Butchart Gardens to view the stunning floral displays and water features then check into your hotel for a 2-night stay.

 

DAY 15
Victoria
A day at leisure: watch the floatplanes as they take off and land on the water of the Inner Harbour; visit the Royal BC Museum; view the totem poles at Beacon Hill Park; or enjoy a whale-watching excursion.

 

DAY 16
End of Tour (72km – land only)
Drive north to Swartz Bay and take the 90-minute ferry cruise (cost included) through the Gulf Islands as you cross the Strait of Georgia to Tsawwassen ferry terminal. From there take a short drive to return your car to Vancouver airport rental depot.
