Start off discovering why Rio is a favourite city for anyone who's been. Feel the vibrations (in your heart) from the rumble of Iguassu Falls. Then head north into the Amazon to explore the lush jungle. After find yourself in Chapada NP finding waterfalls, caves, and parts of yourself you'd long forgotten. From party time in the cities, to some serious beach time along the coasts, this is the right (aka best) way to do iconic Brazil.

Day 1 Rio de Janeiro
Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Rio de Janeiro/Paraty
Travel up the coast to Paraty and wander the cobblestoned streets of this beautiful colonial town.

Day 3 Paraty
Enjoy a free day to explore Paraty. Optional activities include a Caipirinha boat trip, kayaking and horseback riding.

Day 4 Paraty/Iguaçu Falls
Fly to Iguassu Falls for two full days of exploration from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides.

Day 5 Iguaçu Falls
Visit the Brazilian side of the falls to get the best panoramic view. Opt to visit the bird park filled with beautifully coloured local wildlife or enjoy an optional helicopter ride for a birds-eye view of the falls.

Day 6 Iguaçu Falls
Experience Iguassu in Argentina by exploring trails and catwalks. Opt to take a boat tour to view the falls from below.

Day 7 Iguaçu Falls/Bonito
Leave early for a full travel day to Bonito.

Day 8 Bonito
Spend time in Bonito with optional activities available like snorkelling in the rivers or exploring the nearby caves and waterfalls.

Day 9 Bonito
Enjoy another free day to explore Bonito.

Day 10 Bonito/Pantanal
Journey into the Pantanal, a perfect place to experience the wildlife of Brazil. Enjoy a 2-day excursion into the wetlands with a local guide.

Day 11 Pantanal
Full day of exploring the Pantanal. Try piranha fishing or horseback riding. Opportunities to spot wildlife such as monkeys, macaws, giant otters and caiman.

Day 12 Pantanal/Rio de Janeiro
Transfer to Campo Grande and fly back to Rio before arriving to the centrally located hotel in Copacabana.

Day 13 Rio de Janeiro
Enjoy a free day to soak up the vibrant energy of Rio de Janeiro.

Day 14 Rio de Janeiro/Amazon Jungle Lodge
In the morning, leave the concrete jungle behind to fly north to the lush Amazon. Travel by motorized canoe along the famous Amazon river, take in the flooded landscape and spot wildlife along the way. In the evening, spot caimans on a boat excursion and overnight in a jungle lodge.

Day 15 Amazon Jungle Lodge
Enjoy two guided hikes through the Amazon and learn about the plants, trees and wildlife that live deep within the jungle. Stop at a local community for lunch and learn about their way of life.

Day 16 Amazon Jungle Lodge/Fortaleza
Wake up early for a morning excursion by canoe and enjoy the silence before the jungle awakens. Take in the sights and sounds of the Amazon while travelling along the river back to Manaus before flying to Fortaleza.

Day 17 Fortaleza/Jericoacoara
Today is a long travel day to get to the calm teal waters of "Jeri". Travel up the coast away from Fortaleza and arrive in the evening in time to watch the sunset over the ocean.

Day 18 Jericoacoara
Enjoy the chill life in Jeri, spend the day exploring the area by 4x4 or relax in a floating hammock above the crystal clear water. In the evening, watch Brazilians practice Capoeira on the beach, a unique type of martial art made to look like dancing.

Day 19 Jericoacoara
Take a stroll along the endless beach and watch windsurfers ride the waves. Opt to take a surf lesson, rent a stand up paddle board or soak up the sun.

Day 20 Jericoacoara/Fortaleza
Travel from Jeri back to Fortaleza, enjoy the vibrant city and nightlife.

Day 21 Fortaleza/Salvador
Transfer to the airport and catch a morning flight to Salvador. Spend the day exploring, walk around the old city with its colourful buildings and see all the boats lined up in the port.

Day 22 Salvador/Chapada Diamantina National Park
Head away from the coast for some hiking, mountains and breathtaking landscapes. Catch a bus to Chapada Diamantina NP and look forward to a few active days. Enjoy the evening in the small town of Lençóis, the base for exploring the park.

Day 23 Chapada Diamantina National Park
Chapada Diamantina NP is a hidden Brazilian gem with flat top mountains, beautiful waterfalls and majestic caves to discover. Hike around the park and explore the caves filled with crystal clear water, swim in natural pools and test your fear of heights at impressive lookout points.

Day 24 Chapada Diamantina National Park
Chapada Diamantina NP is a hidden Brazilian gem with flat top mountains, beautiful waterfalls and majestic caves to discover. Hike around the park and explore the caves filled with crystal clear water, swim in natural pools and test your fear of heights at impressive lookout points.

Day 25 Chapada Diamantina National Park/Salvador
Take a scenic ride through the countryside on the way back to Salvador. Enjoy the evening in this vibrant city.
