258 garden or sea facing rooms and suites all offer a private terrace or balcony, a king or two queen size beds, air-conditioning, mini bar, flat screen TV, WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. Manor House Rooms are situated in the central Manor House, with garden or ocean views, and each include a bath with shower. Villa Rooms can be ocean view or beach access and the ground floor rooms feature a separate bath and rain shower. All Manor House and Villa room types can accommodate a family of four, and up to two children under 12 yrs share free with their parents. For more space, Family Units include two guaranteed interconnecting rooms and can take two adults and up to four children under 17 yrs. The two spacious Sugar Beach Suites, fronting on to the beach, are perfect for couples wanting more space, each offering a four poster bed, separate living room with second TV and a large terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs.

Restaurants And Bars

The resort’s 3 fantastic restaurants offer a great range of cuisines. Mon Plaisir is the main buffet restaurant, featuring live cooking stations and themed evenings, the beachfront Buddha Bar serves a mouthwatering selection of international and seafood dishes whilst Citronella’s Cafe specialises in Italian cuisine, including delicious wood-fired pizzas. The resort has 4 bars, including a sports bar next to the tennis courts, and provides a beach service of refreshments and snacks for those lazy days on the sugary white sands. Guests also benefit from access to the restaurants and bar facilities of neighbouring sister property La Pirogue.

There are 6 tennis courts, volleyball, badminton, a fitness centre and spa, as well as 2 swimming pools and watersports including snorkelling, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking, sailing and glass bottom boat trips. The Sun Kids’ Club (2-11 yrs), situated in a cute Hansel & Gretal style house made of sweets, organises sporting activities, games and special evening meals and @Sungeneration provides a programme of pastimes for 12-17 yrs. Regular evening get togethers for teens include beach barbecues around the campfire and pizza nights, and mean that parents can have some well deserved alone time.
